CanCat gives you tools to rapidly categorize thousands of transactions from your bank accounts and credit cards. Some of your tax deductions will not appear as transactions in your accounts, such as claiming dependents, reporting mortgage interest, or tax details related to investments. Work with a tax professional to ensure you know what else you can deduct beyond what you find with CanCat. 

CanCat does not replace professional accounting advice and cannot determine if you should or should not tag specific deductions. Only a certified tax professional can verify your work and provide accurate tax advice because every individual’s circumstances are different.

If you tag expenses that may not or do not qualify as a business deduction, CanCat does not verify whether it meets IRS eligibility criteria or tax deduction rules.
